Don’t have money for a trainer? Train your mind first and then you might not even need one! If have never written your goals down before now is a perfect time to start. With spring just around the corner there is no time like the present to get your mind and body in tip-top shape. Here are few tips to get you started! Figure out what you want to accomplish Like most people there are probably a number of I love Paris. On our first day there, we just sorta wandered aimlessly, and it was lovely. We probably walked a total of 5 or 6 miles, but it is the only way to see the city. While Paris is beautiful during the day, it is absolutely breathtaking at night…there is a reason it is called The City of Lights. While I die for the food, coffee, history and art in Paris, the thing I love most is the effortless chicness of the Parisians people. Less is more. If you plan on going to Paris, I have a few recommendations Soooo it is no secret that I am obsessed with reality TV. I pretty much love anything that is on Bravo. I have been watching Shahs of Sunset for sometime now, and each season I love it more and more. Yes, reality TV is rightly known for excessive drinking, bitch fights and random hook ups (Shahs of Sunset definitely has its fair share of the latter), but it is one of the few shows that deals with some very important issues. To begin with, the show centers around Iranian Americans (both Jewish and Muslim) living in Los Angeles. While, yes, I travel a fair amount, but I am still the world’s worst packer. I always seem to bring too much stuff. Yet, once I arrive at my destination, I hate everything that I have packed. Does this happen to anyone else?!?! This trip was no exception. When I checked in at the airport to go to London, my bag was overweight (even though I seriously tried SO SO hard to pack “light”). I had to stuff a bunch of my clothes into my carry-ons. This is pretty much a typical situation whenever I travel. I swear, I am trying to I have a series of really random things that I happen to love. Street art is one of those obsessions. I am not taking about tagging/graffiti, but art that actually has some talent/thought behind it (I am sure anyone that actually knows art is rolling their eyes right about now because I have no idea what I am really talking about). I am not sure why I love it so much, but it makes me happy. My all time favorite place for street art is the Wynwood area of Miami. It is basically the coolest neighborhood ever because each building Greetings from London! My bff, Katie, moved to London, so I obviously had to come visit her. So far we have only been here a day, but we have accomplished so much. A quick rundown of the last 24 hours: Landed at Heathrow, went to Camden Market, had a real British tea at Fortnum & Mason (I consumed wayyy too many scones with clotted cream), quick pit stop at Liberty London, had a pint at The Holly Bush in Hampstead Heath…and then, that brings us to dinner at Byron – This infograph came to me at a very timely moment. If you didn’t know, my husband is currently in training with the Marine Corp to become a pilot. He’s learning a lot in his classes…but what he fanatically reports to me every single day are the perils of flying. Seriously, E-V-E-R-Y-D-A-Y he explains to me and shows me YouTube videos of how jets and other military aircrafts have crashed. Wouldn’t you know, Pilot is 3rd on the list of most dangerous jobs in the US. He’s flown already, and I guess in someways it’s reassuring that he’s learning what NOT

I thought this was a really good idea because I have been on the hunt for the perfect necklace, but didn’t really want to spend tons on it. Low and behold, eBay proved to be a goldmine! I found so many good necklace, and they were all under $10. Last week was pretty gloomy here in Austin, and I honestly didn’t feel like getting dressed at all. To cheer myself up, I can wholeheartedly say that everything in my life is better when it is sunny and warm outside. I was going through some pictures I took last week versus some I took this morning (it is rainy and cold today), and I just look so much better in the sun! I guess everyone does. Maybe I look more awkward in the cold weather pics because I am rushing to get back inside. Anyways, since it is supposed to be cold (I know, I shouldn’t complain because it is WAY colder elsewhere) for the next few days, I decided to post |
