When we were in high school, we did debate together (don’t be a hater; it was awesome), and we would talk about law school as a hypothetical goal that seemed too distant to actually be a reality.

I have been doing a lot of speaking at PRSSA chapters around the country; it has seriously been awesome to see so many people excited about PR. Honestly, before I started doing these speaking gigs, I was going through an “over it phase”. When I woke up each morning, I just wasn’t all that excited about my job anymore. This is really bad when you own your own business, and a major key to success is being positive and energized. I am all sorts of sucking at life today. I went to ACL this weekend, and for any of you that know about ACL, it is a marathon music festival: 3 days and hundreds of bands. Needless to say, I am not really functioning today; it was totally worth it though.
