Happy Sunday! I hope the weather is better where ever you are. After a few splendid days of sunshine in Austin, it is back to being rainy and cold. BUMMER. Patti Pao had a major “aha” moment when visiting a salmon hatchery in Norway. They do say that you can find inspiration everywhere! While on a sight seeing tour, Patti noticed that the workers’ hands, which were submerged in water all day, looked smooth and ageless. She soon discovered that this was the result of a remarkable enzyme that occurs in nature to help salmon eggs hatch. I always knew I wanted to own my own business. I opened up a grocery store in our workout room, and used the treadmill as the check out aisle when I was about 6. Then, in middle school, I opened Stacy Lyon has always been an entrepreneur. Her first business venture was when she was 9 years old; she sold worms to Shawano Lake (Wisconsin) fishermen. Then, in college, she started an entrepreneurs club at the University of Wyoming. Now, she is the founder of healthy hoohoo, which is a revolutionary line of natural freshness products for women. There is no question about it: Stacy has created a very successful brand with products that might not be the sexiest to talk about. However, the reality is, sometimes I need to actually function in the clothes I am wearing. So, I wore this outfit last Monday because I needed a major pick me up after my vacay. Yes, going back to work can be a major buzz kill! If only, I could live a jet set life…Joking, joking. I am pretty happy to be back at work because I have some exciting things going on. I can’t wait to share them later in the year! I love Paris. On our first day there, we just sorta wandered aimlessly, and it was lovely. We probably walked a total of 5 or 6 miles, but it is the only way to see the city. While Paris is beautiful during the day, it is absolutely breathtaking at night…there is a reason it is called The City of Lights. While I die for the food, coffee, history and art in Paris, the thing I love most is the effortless chicness of the Parisians people. Less is more. I have been watching Shahs of Sunset for sometime now, and each season I love it more and more. Yes, reality TV is rightly known for excessive drinking, bitch fights and random hook ups (Shahs of Sunset definitely has its fair share of the latter), but it is one of the few shows that deals with some very important issues.
