With bathing suit season right around the corner, I thought Hilary Genga, Founder of Trunkettes Swimwear, would be a timely fit for “3 Things”. The inspiration for Trunkettes? Hilary used to pair her husband’s swim trunks with her cute bikini tops. She was tired of waiting for women’s swimwear to catch up, so she decided to create her own line. The collection now consists of their staple feminine spin on traditional men’s swim So this past weekend, I had the honor of going to Providence, RI to attend The Lady Project Summit. If you follow any of my social media channels, you probably saw that I had the best time ever. It was inspiring and motivating to be around a group of ladies with interesting jobs or side hustles. Everyone that I spoke to was trying to do something major with their life. In the past, I have always hated networking or conferences because small talk is awkward. A singer and I wanted to build “homeless shelter hotels” all over the world. 2. Fast-forward several years/decades. How did you land (or create) your current position? Run Around Betties is the brainchild of this former overworked assistant and caters to I have to say, this weekend was pretty fun.
