about you, but we are tired of reading generic BS from “career experts”. So, we are going straight to the horse’s mouth: ladies with the most badass jobs around. In this week’s column, we chat with one of my best friends, Katie Amey! I I know it is cliché: I have been trying to start this blog for quite a while now. I always had a million excuses for why I couldn’t: “I am too busy with real work”, “I don’t have time”, “It probably won’t get anywhere”…blah, blah, blah. One day, about a month ago, I said, “fuck it, it is time to do what I really want”. Thus, NeonNotebook was born! I spend a vast majority of my time on the Internet, and I have always felt like there wasn’t a one-stop destination for gen-y girls. There are fabulous fashion blogs, inspiring I don’t even have a real blog, and I already suck at being a blogger. I officially started writing this post in July 2012 (right before my 25th bday). Then, I made it my New Years Resolution to blog more, but that hasn’t worked out so well either. Better late than never seems to be my official motto. So now, as a one-third of the way through the year resolution, I am going to start recording my journey to world domination.
