As I mentioned before, it was cold and rainy all weekend in Austin, so it was the perfect time to bust out all my over-sized sweaters and leggings. I was excited because on Saturday, the cold front finally gave me a reason to wear my new zip up cardigan from Old Navy (c/o). It was just as warm and cozy as I had anticipated.
One of the things I love the most about Austin is that you are in a city, but with a quick 15-20 minute drive you can be in the middle of no where. I was tired of taking all of my pictures in front of the same backdrop, so we decided to take a ride out to the country to see what we could find.
I love this picture; it is horror movie chic.
I like pieces that have an unexpected element, and this cardigan has a zipper; instead, of typical buttons. Not only do I think it looks cooler, it actually keeps you warmer too.
It actually looks like Fall!
The body of the sweater is gray and the sleeves are an oatmeal color. The color blocking definitely makes it more versatile.
