What I Wore: London Edition

I travel a fair amount, but I am still the world’s worst packer. I always seem to bring too much stuff. Yet, once I arrive at my destination, I hate everything that I have packed. Does this happen to anyone else?!?!

This trip was no exception. When I checked in at the airport to go to London, my bag was overweight (even though I seriously tried SO SO hard to pack “light”). I had to stuff a bunch of my clothes into my carry-ons. This is pretty much a typical situation whenever I travel. I swear, I am trying to get better!

Out of all the outfits I wore in London, this was probably my favorite, so I tried to snap a few pics. Sorry that some of them are really dark. It is super cloudy in London; I can’t help it!

IMG_5466Another weird thing that I do when I pack is bring clothes that I NEVER wear in real life. These pants, for example, probably haven’t been worn in years, but for some reason I decided they had to go to London. I wasn’t able to get any good close ups, but they essentially look like riding pants.

IMG_5454In theory, this picture could have been the bomb.com. However, it is dark and we could never get one without random people in the background. OH WELL. You get the idea. This is my British/equestrian look.

I got back to Texas last night, and coming home from a trip is always so bitter sweet. I am happy to be back to my normal boring routine: blogging, watching reality TV shows, hanging out with my dog, going to the grocery store, spinning, etc…all of those boring things that make me so happy. However, I am already itching for another adventure. I may or may not have spent the whole afternoon looking at tickets to Tokyo.

This trip in particular was pretty amazing. Obviously being in Europe was cool, but more importantly, I got to spend a whole week with two of my best friends! Can’t get any better than that. I seriously have the raddest people in my life.
