Admittedly, It was WAYYYY too cold to be wearing this outfit. If it is 30 degrees outside, don’t wear cutoff shorts. But hello, this is Texas, and I am supposed to be able to shorts all year around.
These shorts are the only DIY project that I have ever successfully completed. I always wanted a good pair of cutoffs, but the ones they sell in stores are SO freakin’ short. No one wants to see that.
Thus, I decided to take a trip to Goodwill, find some mom jeans, and create my own. It seriously took all of 15 minutes to make these.
I think I was going through seasonal depression or something because I really, really wanted to wear these shorts. I pretty much wore them all summer, so I was missing them. I thought by throwing on some tights, I would be warm enough, but nope, definitely not. There is a reason that people wear pants in the winter!!
I always revert back to my trusty neon yellow belt. It is a wardrobe staple.
