What I Wore: Cutoffs in the Winter?!?

Admittedly, It was WAYYYY too cold to be wearing this outfit. If it is 30 degrees outside, don’t wear cutoff shorts. But hello, this is Texas, and I am supposed to be able to shorts all year around.

IMG_1606These shorts are the only DIY project that I have ever successfully completed. I always wanted a good pair of cutoffs, but the ones they sell in stores are SO freakin’ short. No one wants to see that.

Thus, I decided to take a trip to Goodwill, find some mom jeans, and create my own. It seriously took all of 15 minutes to make these.

IMG_1565I think I was going through seasonal depression or something because I really, really wanted to wear these shorts. I pretty much wore them all summer, so I was missing them. I thought by throwing on some tights, I would be warm enough, but nope, definitely not. There is a reason that people wear pants in the winter!!

IMG_1599I always revert back to my trusty neon yellow belt. It is a wardrobe staple.
