I LOVVVVEE TEXAS. The main reason I love living in Texas = no real winter! Yes, it gets cold for a few days, just long enough to bust out my favorite coats and boots, but then it is back to warm temps. This time of year is perfect because its cool in the mornings, but warm in the afternoons. This allows for my favorite fashion combo: sweaters and sandals.
When I lived in Boston/NYC, I hated the winters. The snow was pretty for a few days, but the appeal wore off quickly. The thing that annoyed me most about winters were:
1) Having to wear closed toed shoes for months and months and months. My feet would feel like they were suffocating. I know, first world problems.
2) All the stuff you have to carry around. It gets annoying to haul around scarves and jackets.
I don’t wear a lot of color, but I am obsessed with this sweater. It just adds a pop to a pretty dull outfit.
I always love when stores put all of their summer stuff on sale to make room for the winter gear, it gives me a great excuse to shop. That is what happened with these awesome clog sandals from my favorite shoe store in Brooklyn, Shoe Market. Also, Nicole from writes like a girl did a great post today on out of season super sales.
