Where I Shopped: Teysha

So earlier this week, I went to check out the new Teysha store on S. 1st. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, you really should be.

While traveling the world, co-founders, Sophie and Travis, saw the damaging impacts of poverty and deforestation. They believed that social entrepreneurship, conscious capitalism, and micro-finance were the most effective tools to empower people.

Thus, Teysha was born to help give artisans around the world more opportunity. The artists make beautiful, hand-crafted belts, shoes and hats.

Sophie and Travis explain, “By joining our mission, you are helping to create a world in which all people have the opportunity to express themselves, to work for peace and a better future, and connect across borders and cultures.”
