Carol Han

In 2010, Carol Han and Alexandra Weiss took the ultimate plunge: they left their cushy fashion jobs to start CA Creative, an agency focused on growing brand identity and business by maintaining attention in digital spaces.

Before they decided to go off on their own, Carol worked for Elle and StyleCaster, while Alex was at Ralph Lauren. With their combined years of editorial and fashion experience, they felt like should combine forces to provide brands with innovative content and cool social media strategies.

What I Wore: Statement Necklace

I get some nifty tips from my fellow fashion bloggers. I was recently reading Goodwillista, and she mentioned that she found some good costume necklaces on eBay. I thought this was a really good idea because I have been on the hunt for the perfect necklace, but didn’t really want to spend tons on it.

Low and behold, eBay proved to be a goldmine! I found so many good necklace, and they were all under $10.

Last week was pretty gloomy here in Austin, and I honestly didn’t feel like getting dressed at all. To cheer myself up,

What I Wore: Acid Wash Jeans

I can wholeheartedly say that everything in my life is better when it is sunny and warm outside. I was going through some pictures I took last week versus some I took this morning (it is rainy and cold today), and I just look so much better in the sun! I guess everyone does.

Maybe I look more awkward in the cold weather pics because I am rushing to get back inside. Anyways, since it is supposed to be cold (I know, I shouldn’t complain because it is WAY colder elsewhere) for the next few days, I decided to post

What I Wore: Shirt Dress

Since I have been trying to save money, I haven’t been shopping in the typical sense. However, I have been shopping in my closet. Meaning, I have been pulling things out that I haven’t worn in years, and trying to re-purpose them into new outfits. This dress is one of those things; I can’t even remember the last time I wore it.

IMG_2100 I would probably never consider myself to be sexy. Pretty, yes. Fashionable, yes. Cute, maybe. But there is something about sexy that scares me. I am just

What I Wore: Neon Cardigan on a Rainy Day (+ 2014 Career Goals)

I am backkkkk! Okay, well technically I was always here, but I have been really unmotivated for the last few weeks. I hate the feeling of going through the motions without any excitement. Anyways, I had a pretty stellar weekend (hope you did too), and I woke up this morning with a renewed sense of enthusiasm.

Since I wasn’t really feeling it, I haven’t spoken that much about all the exciting things that I am going to do in 2014. I am planning to grow my business through videos; they will mostly be how-to PR videos. I am taking the

What I Wore: Gold Buttons

You know when things are dramatic, but then at the same time they are really stupid? Like in the moment you think “oh shit, this shouldn’t have happened; this is bad”. However, when you stop to think about it, and put everything in perspective, you realize that everything is really actually okay. I feel like my whole week has been filled with those “oh, shit” moments.

On a more positive note, I have actually been making an attempt to get dressed this week. Since I pretty much spent the whole holiday season in

Don’t Love Going to the Mall? Check Out Stitch Fix.

I wouldn’t normally do a straight up review of a company, but when one of my most frugal, mall-hating friends (shout out Mandy!), wouldn’t stop raving about Stitch Fix, I had to check it out.

Stitch Fix is an online personal styling service for women. Essentially, you fill out a lengthy questionnaire about your personal style, submit it your Stitch Fix stylist, and voilà 5 items will show up at your door.

I was a little bit skeptical because as someone that loves to shop, I didn’t think someone else could pick out clothes for me. In the

What I Wore: Black & White Dress

I have been feeling pretty uninspired lately. Work has really slowed down because of the holidays, which has been super nice. I didn’t realize how much I needed a break. This past week, all I have done is hang out with my friends/family, eat tortillas with queso, and haven’t really changed out of sweatpants. It has been perfect.

This is an outfit I wore a few weekends ago to brunch. I wanted to wear something comfortable/easy, yet I wasn’t in the mood to wear jeans again.
