If you work in PR, it is essentially part of your job to stay informed. There are a few PR blogs that I peruse every morning to get new tips, ideas and recommendations. I thought I would share them will y’all!
Let me know if I am missing any must-reads.
1) PR Couture
This is the perfect place for all of us fashion PR girls. I love that PR Couture is a marketplace of contributors sharing their two-cents; every time I look through it, I always find tons of tips that I can use to make my business better. The blog also has a great job board and directory of PR firms, which is always helpful!
2) nyc PR girls
Another great place to get tips on how to do your job better. They cover everything from what to do when you lose a client (ouch! we have all be there) to Fashion Fridays, where some of the most stylish girls in the industry dish on their must-have pieces.
3) PR Diva
Whenever I scroll through my Twitter feed, something from PR Diva always catches me eye! I swear all of the blog posts were written just for me. For example, this morning, I saw this post about: “Are You Too Small to Grow?”, and I have been thinking about this very topic A LOT lately. I love hearing what other people in the industry have to say.
This is another one of my favs that I have been following for a while now. I always look forward to the “Spotlights”, which profile people working in the industry. It is always interesting to read other people’s perspectives and learn from their story.
5) PR Blonde
I love this blog because Lauren Pruner (a fellow Texas girl…I might add) gives a real view into the crazy world of NYC PR. This girl is living the dream! She moved to NYC, and landed a job at an awesome PR firm. Also, I love that she adds bits and pieces about fashion and beauty into the mix.
