What I Ate: Xian Sushi and Noodle

I don’t know if you are like me, but when it is actually time to eat, I can never think of anywhere to go. I like to post these restaurant reviews on Friday…just in case you need somewhere new to try this weekend. A few weeks ago, we tried Xian Sushi and Noodle, after reading a review in the local newspaper.

I love noodles of any kind, and this place claims to be Austin’s “first hand pulled noodle bar”, so I definitely wanted to check it out.

IMG_5660You can see the chef behind the counter pulling the noodles; it is kinda cool! We ordered a noodle dish with vegetables and beef. The noodles were really good…the perfect amount of chewiness. Overall, the dish could have used an extra punch. Maybe that is just my opinion because I like everything to be extra spicy.

IMG_6413Our table’s general consensus: the sushi was the best part of the meal.

IMG_5718Uh yeah, sorry for this pathetic picture. We had pretty much demolished this roll, and then I remembered I needed to take a pic!
