Don’t Love Going to the Mall? Check Out Stitch Fix.

I wouldn’t normally do a straight up review of a company, but when one of my most frugal, mall-hating friends (shout out Mandy!), wouldn’t stop raving about Stitch Fix, I had to check it out.

Stitch Fix is an online personal styling service for women. Essentially, you fill out a lengthy questionnaire about your personal style, submit it your Stitch Fix stylist, and voilà 5 items will show up at your door.

I was a little bit skeptical because as someone that loves to shop, I didn’t think someone else could pick out clothes for me. In the end, what I love the most is the element of surprise. When I got my box, I was pretty excited to see what was in it; I would imagine this is what it feels like to be a kid on Christmas morning (I am Jewish, so I wouldn’t know).

I think that Stitch Fix offers a great service for someone who maybe doesn’t love going to the mall or feels iffy about fashion. It is definitely a time saving tool.

My style is very in-depth. I mean come on, some days, I could be decked out neon and then, the next day I am in all black. I didn’t really know how Stitch Fix could capture that with a few questions online. However, they really cover all the basis with their questionnaire. Below are just a few examples of the questions they ask:

StitchFix1) Sara Bootcut Jeans

2) Lana Stud Detail Quilted Crossbody Bag

3) Dellen Chiffon Trim Striped Thermal (this was probably my fav piece)

4) Wrenn V-Neck Cap Sleeve Jersey Top

5) Edwards Open Draped Cardigan

For ladies that don’t love putting outfits together, your “Fix” comes with a nifty little style guide. Sorry this picture is so crappy. I only realized it wasn’t great after I had spilled coffee all over it, but you get the idea!
