I feel like my life is just starting to regain normalcy, after moving last week. I know, I am acting like I moved half way across the world, rather than just across the apartment complex, but still. I was so behind on work, and I am finally caught up! Whoo!
Over the past 10 days or so, there have been a few interesting articles on the web that have caught my attention:
1) Fact: I read the NY Post almost every morning. Why? Because they have entertaining stories, and being accurate is overrated. I was intrigued by this story, “My life as a call girl in Love Guv ring“. It is written by former call girl, Valerie Baber. A few years ago, I actually met Ashley Dupre (she was part of the same escort service as Valerie), and she was very nice and normal. It is interesting to hear their point of view, rather than, what the media portrays.
2) Joe Jonas got profound on us in this New York Magazine article. The Disney fame making machine isn’t always a good thing…
3) STITCHER, I am obsessed with you. Why didn’t I know that you existed before?!? Major shout out to Breakfast for Dinner Podcast for introducing me to the wonderful world of Stitcher. I never even realized that there were so many awesome podcasts out there, but thanks to Stitcher, now I do. My work day is a million times less boring. I am really into The Bowery Boys podcast.
4) I rarely cook, and unfortunately, I rarely eat healthy. However, when I do cook, I figure why not try to make whatever I am making healthy? That is why I have been obsessed with the blog, Skinny Taste, for sometime now. Now that I have a bigger kitchen, I have been trying to cook one thing a week. Last night, I made these awesome enchiladas.
5) Do you need a deer head with glittered antler? I think you do. White Faux Taxidermy is the most wonderful Etsy store. As soon as I get paid again, I am going to buy this amazing creation to go in my “dining room”.
