Admittedly, It was WAYYYY too cold to be wearing this outfit. If it is 30 degrees outside, don’t wear cutoff shorts. But hello, this is Texas, and I am supposed to be able to shorts all year around.

Sheena has always been ambitious: she entered college at the age of 14, and graduated from UCLA at 19. So, it I have been in the process of decorating my new apartment. I am determined to not buy anything from Ikea! I want to actually take the time to find unique, cool pieces. I have been spending an obscene amount of time scouring Craigslist, going to all my favorite vintage/thrift stores and browsing Etsy. I realized that if you ever want to sell something for way more than it is actually worth, just say it is vintage. So annoying. I don’t really have a reason for why. It is just as I get older, I have just become really lame. Not to mention, hangovers at 26 are beyond brutal. However, I made a rule for myself that I have to get drunk once every 6-8 weeks because, look, I am not 90. I am still young, and let’s be real: the crazy nights that you reminisce about about with friends for years usually involve some alcohol. The point of that whole spiel was to Um, yeah it is cold in Austin right now; the high today is only 39 degrees! Okay, I know I am a wuss because if you live somewhere like Minnesota or Iowa, this is nothing. For Texas, it is cold! And, during the winter, we don’t always think about what the harsh weather does to our hair! It can be brutal! These shorts are the only DIY project that I have ever successfully completed. I always wanted a good pair of cutoffs, but the ones they sell in stores are SO freakin’ short. No one wants to see that.
